About the Company:
iCube Development was founded in December of 2005 by Matthew Kinderwater.
In 2005, iCube Development consisted of a single rented room, it's office located in a 6 x 4 bedroom closet. In December of 2005, iCube Development turned it's focus toward growing into a specialized, dominant data recovery and technical service provider. In January of 2008, the success of the trade name business born in a rental property closet resulted in iCube Development Inc., a nationally incorporated, trusted, and industry recommended data recovery and computer repair company.
Today, nearly 5 years later iCube Development has grown into 2 Calgary offices and powers over 5000 users annually with data recovery, computer repair, application design, and Internet hosting services across Canada. In 2009 and 2010, iCube Development received both an entrepreneurial business leadership award and nominations for the Better Business Bureau small business Ethics Award.

iCube Development is a different kind of technical support company.
iCube Development designed, programmed, and made public a client billing and customer relation management (CRM) software – called “Billwerx” (pronounced: bill-works). iCube Development freely gives this open-source software to other small businesses’ – it adopts our procedure of automated quality surveys and forces customer service to be placed first.
Billwerx includes a unique policy of sharing internal repair and work order notes to the client. This policy removes the mystery of computer repair and includes everything from the work performed, justification of billing charges, and detailed descriptions for each and every product or service we provide. Billwerx became a solution for all types of business – not just ours.
Today, Billwerx powers over 1000 small business owners and their companies worldwide – including other technical service providers (including our Calgary competition)! Anyone can read the manual, test out an on-line demo, and can download this software free of charge (without time limitations or advertising) at www.billwerx.com. It’s our gift to other small business owners. We don’t track who downloads the software – Billwerx is truly free software without any strings attached. It should be noted that iCube Development does not receive any incentives (monetary or otherwise) for the development, or the continued development of Billwerx.
